Brief: Water-Service Interruption Saturday from Contentment to Paradise

Dec. 8, 2006 — Water service from Estate Contentment to Estate Paradise will get interrupted between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday for service work, according to a news release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority (WAPA).
"The interruption will allow WAPA crews to replace two defective gate valves in front of the Kingshill pump station next to the Central High School gymnasium and one in front of the Territorial Court on Queen Mary Highway," the news release says. "WAPA is asking the motoring public to drive slowly in the areas where the crews are working and to obey traffic directions. The authority appreciates the patience of its water customers while this service enhancement effort is underway and will make every effort to complete the work on schedule."
