July 5, 2006 – Clarissa Gabriel of Savan died in Miami, Fla. She was a member of the Elskoe Carnival Troupe for many years and was 71 years old.
She is survived by daughter, Cecilia Gabriel; brothers: Herman "Mitch" Mitchell, Leando " Cacho" Gabriel and Emilliano Lake; and sister, Rita Thompson. She is also survived by grandchildren: Orville Browne and Assyria Gabriel; and close friend Dorothy Elskoe; as well as many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., on Friday, July 7,at the Davis Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 8, at All Saints Cathedral. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
