Fishermen's Association Will Host Bastille Day Dance

June 20, 2006 – The St. Thomas Fishermen's Association will host the Bastille Day Dance as the start of French Heritage Week on the Virgin Islands. The event will take place from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., on Saturday, July 8, at the Frenchtown Community Center. Sea Breeze and DJ Jason Greaux will provide music. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Julian Magras at 777-5584.
The STFA is comprised of V.I. fishermen, many of whom have fished here for five generations and who want to make sure that their sons and daugters can continue to fish well into the future.
