FYI: Sen. White Will Meet with Residents of Bellevue Village

Dec. 1, 2005 – Senator Celestino A. White Sr. will meet with the residents of Bellevue Village, St. John on Sunday Dec. 4, at 3 p.m., in the community center at the complex. The purpose of the meeting is to up-date residents on issues of concerns regarding occupancy and completion schedule.
Thirty (30) families have moved into the 72 unit affordable housing Development at Pine Peace St. John, and the remaining 43 families are expected to occupy their units at different intervals within the next five (5) months. "While I have been reasonably assured that the developer has carefully screen applicants who have been selected for occupancy, my office will remain vigilant to insure that St. Johnians receive first preference", stated Senator White.
I remain steadfast in my commitment to insure that residents of this Territory and in this instance, St. John residents, receive every opportunity to live in decent, safe, sanitary affordable housing and to be able to enjoy the vistas and scenic overlook normally reserved for a select few, continued Senator White.
I cordially invite those residents who presently reside at the complex and those who have been selected for occupancy, to joint me on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 3 p.m. in the community center, concluded Senator White.
