Nov. 17, 2005 – Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen today announced that she is this week's "featured member" on the HouseDemocrats.gov Web site.
The page dedicated to Christensen focuses on her commitment to advancing the cause of minority health care in the U.S., pointing out that she is the first female physician in the history of Congress.
In addition to the page dedicated to Christensen, the Web site presents myriad information about the Democratic Party, including brief summaries of the positions it takes on a number of core issues.
