Oct. 21, 2005 – Customers on sections of St. Croix's feeder No. 3 will be without power over the weekend while the V.I. Water and Power Authority completes upgrades and maintenance to the distribution system.
On Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., line crews will relocate three phase lines from a burnt pole to a newly installed pole at the entrance to Estate Questa Verde. This will affect areas of Estate Herman Hill and Questa Verde. On Sunday, from 7 a.m. noon, crews will transfer three phase lines to new poles and remove old poles in order to relocate feeder No. 9 from a residential property to allow for easier access. This work will be conducted in the area of Beeston Hill and affect Estates Beeston Hill, Grange, and Havensight.
