Hortense Adele Plaskett-George is Dead at 67

Sept. 27, 2005 – Hortense Adele Plaskett-George, a native of St. Croix, died on Sep. 26 in Oxon Hill, Md. at the age of 67.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford Miles Plaskett and Agatha Clendinen Plaskett. Survivors include her husband, Wilmouth George; children: Lloyd Davis, Rueben, Yulette and Jermaine-Jide George. She is also survived by sisters: Ivy Plaskett-John and Beatrice Plaskett-Simmonds; brothers: Ulric, Leroy, Raymond, and Dr. Lawrence Plaskett. Other survivors include many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5, beginning at 9:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Christiansted Cemetery.
