July 26, 2005 – On Sunday, Aug. 14, The Toad and Tart English Pub in Smith Bay will be hosting the 2nd Annual "Genips For Crits" fundraiser to benefit the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
The genips will be sold on both sides of the road from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., a BBQ lunch–burgers, veggie burgers and chicken–will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.; special edition t-shirts will be on sale; and shelter animals will be on site, begging to be adopted.
From 6-9 p.m., the fundraising will continue outside under the stars. There will be Tiki lights with BBQ steak and swordfish and live music with the fabulous "10K" group playing great rock 'n' roll!
