BVI Charterboat Crackdown Could Benefit USVI

I'd like to clarify two points in your story. First, the wooden staircase was one instance – I don't know that I'd call them particularly common on megayachts. Second, this impact the BVI charter yachts as much or more than non-BVI yachts. I got the impression, especially from the first paragraph, that this doesn't apply to BVI yachts. It most certainly does! One practical aspect of this may be to keep yachts in the USVI for the entire charter, thereby capturing a greater percentage of the guests' and yachts' spending during the charter.
