Legislature Must Override Animal Cruelty Veto

Dear Source,
Animal cruelty continues without properly-mandated punishment to its perpetrators because of the Governor's veto of the Animal Cruelty legislation. How can we stand by and give our tacit consent to these actions when we have a remedy at hand? Inflicting pain on another living being for sport, revenge, or fun is simply not what we as a community stand for.

You are the people who ensure that the people's will is done – only you can make this right.

Please override the Governor's veto of the Animal Cruelty legislation…!

Sincerely,

Anita Davis
