Frank Forbes Dies at 62

Nov. 11, 2004 – Funeral services are set for Frank Forbes, 62, of St. Thomas. Forbes died on Nov. 3 at his residence. He was a native of Tortola.
He is survived by his wife, Iona Stout-Forbes; sons, William Sr. and Alexander Forbes; daughters, Jasmine Forbes-Trotman and Letasha Forbes; son-in-law, Bienvenido Trotman; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Forbes; mother-in-law, Essey Malone-Stout; brothers, Rufus Forbes, Daniel and Archibald Martin, Rodney and Clinton Nibbs; sisters, Venoria Cox, Melrose Bishop, Wanda Lewis, Beryl Smith and Claret Parker; adopted sisters, Cynthia Vanterpool, Lydia Blyden and Claudia Creque; aunts, Diana Nibbs, Ina Class and Lillian Dawson; uncles, Teophlus, Delbert and Cromwell Nibbs; sisters-in-law, Elva Forbes, Eva and Ianta Martin, Digree Nibbs, Clarina Todman, Elmie Penn, Elaine Flanders-Queeley, Thelma Williams and Valerie Lettsome; brothers-in-law, William Bishop, Felipe Smith, Dalma Parker, Garfield and Glanville Stout; grandchildren, William Forbes, Jr., Jahnelle Reid, Malakhai Reid and Zaniya Trotman; many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
Viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at Christ Church Methodist, with a viewing at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Western Cemetery.
