RODRIQUEZ NOMINATED FOR PERSONNEL DIRECTOR

Feb. 5, 2004 – Kevin A. Rodriquez, presently acting director of Personnel, has been nominated for the position of director by Gov. Charles W. Turnbull, in a letter to Senate President David S. Jones requesting Senate confirmation.
Rodriquez has been acting director since the resignation of Joanne U. Barry in October. Earlier, he was director of human resources for the V.I. Legislature, during the 22nd Legislature, a release said.
"Your prompt and favorable confirmation will allow the Division of Personnel to continue to meet its busy agenda without interruption," the governor said in the letter.
