Jan. 29, 2003 – The American Red Cross is offering first aid and CPR courses during the month of February on St. Thomas and St. Croix.
Community CPR and First Aid will be taught from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8. The Community CPR course will offer certification in adult, child and infant CPR. CPR training only will be offered on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and First Aid Basics will be offered on Thursday, Feb. 20, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. both days.
The training sessions are held at Nisky Center on St. Thomas and at the Red Cross facility at 65 Castle Coakley in Christiansted.
Registration is required and is on a first-come first-served basis. The cost for the combined CPR and First Aid course is $60 for individuals and $55 for nonprofit and government employees. The separate CPR and First Aid classes are $50 for individuals and $45 for government and nonprofit organization employees.
