July 1, 2002 – Senator Lorraine L. Berry has released the French Heritage calender of events which began Sunday with a queen pageant at the St. Peter Great House.
The winner of the pageant will reign as queen at various functions held in observation of French Heritage Week, culminating in a Bastille Day Celebration on July 14, and will also participate in the St. John's Fourth of July parade and in V.I. Carnival next year.
