EMANCIPATION DAY RUN WILL BE IN FREDERIKSTED

June 28, 2002 – The third annual Emancipation Day Run Free one-mile road race will be held July 3 at 8 a.m. in Frederiksted. The race starts one mile east of Fort Frederik on Veterans Drive, the road along the waterfront, and finishes at Buddhoe Park/Fort Frederik Museum.
There's no entry fee to participate in this race, which is hosted by the Frederiksted Emancipation Day Committee and organized by V. I. Pace Runners.
Top finishers will get awards; all participants will get certificates.
