V.I. TO APPLY FOR DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT

June 4, 2002 – The Human Services Department has announced its intention to apply to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for a Community Development Block Grant Award for FY 2003.
The grant is authorized by the Omnibus Territories Act and copies will be available to the public for review by June 7. Comments will be accepted through June 21 at the office of the Human Services commissioner and at the public and University of the Virgin Islands libraries on St. Thomas.
