The Government Employees Retirement System Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room of the GERS Building on St. Thomas.
Orim Graves of Segal Advisors Inc. will present an analysis of GERS investment performance through last Sept. 30.
This will be followed by presentations on large capitalization growth management by Segal Advisors, MFS Institutional Advisors, Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management and Peachtree Asset Management. Following the presentations, the board will review the material presented and select a large capitalization growth manager for the system to replace a previous one, administrator Laurence Bryan said.
Unfinished business to be addressed includes an alternative retirement formula, the fiscal year 1998 audit and a communication system upgrade.
Among the items of new business are a check-issuance policy and an amendment to the travel policy. An executive session is scheduled to discuss personnel matters.
