With torrential rains predicted to accompany Hurricane Lenny, Public Works Commissioner Harold G. Thompson Jr. said sandbags will be available to all residents who need them.
On St. Croix residents can pick up sandbags at DPW at Estate Anna's Hope, the Cotton Valley fire stations, Estate Concordia DPW complex and in Frederiksted and Estate Grove fire stations.
Thompson reminded people who received sandbags last month to be considerate of those who still need them.
A limit of four sandbags per household is in effect.
