UVI MEN
These were the last games of the ODI season. The UVI Buc men have now
qualified for the ODI play-offs. They will come in at the sixth spot. There
is a play-off game November 15 to see who that they will play. The odds are
considering the tie breakers that they will play CUPO in Ponce , Thursday
November 18. This will be a six vs three game. There will also be a five vs
four game. The first and second seed will wait the outcome to play the
second round. Hurricane Lennie may have an effect if it continues in the
same course. The final decision of scheduling this first round play-off game
will be made at 8:00 AM , Tuesday morning.
UVI WOMEN
The Lady Bucs finished on a positive note with a strong win to finish the
ODI season. They will finish their season with a contest against the Tortola
All-Stars Sunday, November 20.
TABLE TENNIS
UVI was also represented in the one day ODI table tennis tournament. The St.
Croix based group finished fifth in the women and seventh in the men.
