ST. CROIX WON'T BENEFIT FROM BEAL

I am a Virgin Islander by birth. I have since then had the experience of
moving to the mainland U.S. My experiences of St.Croix are great in that, that it is "My Home".
Stated in the article, " Wade Gates, director corporate affairs for Beal Aerospace, took to the airwaves to say that despite the lawsuit, the majority of island residents support the project at Great Pond Bay. "
All I have to say is this, Beal Aerospace, is in the business of making rockets, which as stated before requires a high level of education in the field of Engineering! How many of the common people of the island have this type of expertise, I will have to say few, if not any! This situation is so similar to the American Indians and the land that was taken from their possession so easily. Do not be fooled St. Croix will in no way benefit from a rocket plant being built in place of Camp Arawak.
We all see what is going on with the youth of society today. If we can put the same energy into providing activities for them to participate in, idle time would now be occupied. I myself was a Boy Scout as a child and I know it give me something to do when there was nothing but "idle" time.
People of St. Croix, I beg you, do not be fooled!
