The National Park Service reminds the visiting public that the Christiansted National Historic Site parking lot will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m., daily. Property or vehicles left after that time will be removed at the owner’s expense.
Naturally, for the park’s last Saturday Movie Night and last Friday Jazz Nights, parking will be permitted outside these times as their permits allows.
There is a two-hour parking limit that is enforced for all visitors. The parking lot is for those visiting the Christiansted National Historic Site or conducting business with the park. All visitors are advised to inform the visitor use assistants at Fort Christiansvaern if their expected stay on site will go beyond the two-hour limit. (www.nps.gov/chri)
