Joseph E. Lynch Jr.

Joseph E. Lynch Jr., also known as “Joe” or “The Mayor of Princess,” died on Nov. 21.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Agatha Mason-Francis; father, Joseph Lynch Sr.; brothers and sisters: Monsonto Nisbitt, Oma Williams-Miller, Almeada Williams-Milliner, Hubert Lynch, Earnest Lynch, Mercedes Francis and Cleopha Francis-Hall; adopted sister, Iris Browne; and adopted daughter, and Patricia “Pat” Browne.
He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Lynch; brother, Euclid Lynch; nieces: Helen Miller, Laverne Lynch, Josephine Walott, Terry Lynch, Rita Lynch, Lorely Lynch, Patricia Lynch, Julie Lynch, Arlene Hodge Rawlins, Kim, Sherry and Pamela Milliner, Melpha Florence, Allison Hall, Unice Archibald, Ruby, Josie and Kim Urgent; nephews: Hubert Lynch Jr., Dennis Lynch, Garrett Lynch, Renwrick, Avery, Earnest Jr., Lynch, Larry, Glen, Leroy Miller Jr., Gerald Hall Jr. and Guy Lynch; and many great nieces and nephews to include: Shelette Greenidge, Maurice Greenidge Jr., Jamahl Lynch, Larry Miller Jr., Renwrick Jr., Daja Brooks, Pashanique Browne, O’Darrie King, Nicole Lynch and Elle Nielsen.
He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Paula Lynch and Marilyn Lynch; caretakers: Leona Christian and Abdule English; families: Cornelius, Mason, Lynch, Nielson, Williams and Neptune; special friends: Sylvia Cornelius, Petra, Palance, Ms. Smalls, John Woodson School Lunch Staff with whom he worked , Ms. Iota Thomas, Ms. Mary; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to the JFL Hospital staff and Continuum Care.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at St. John’s Anglican, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
