The family of the late Winifred O’Reilly is saddened to announce her passing on Sept. 29, 2013. She was born on May 21, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Patricia “Patty Ann.” She is survived by her sons: Brian, John and Stephanus; stepson, Sean O’Reilly; grandchildren: Brain II, Cinnamon, Candice, Stephen, Brandon, Blaire and Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Khalil and Rashad; stepsisters: Louise O’Reilly and Doris Williams; and daughters-in-law: Nellie, Arleen and Ireene.
She is also survived by nieces: Barbara Venetis, Sylvia Gibbs, Sandra O’Reilly, Coreen Hughes, Yvonne Tyson (Fla.) and Ethlyn Tyson (England); nephews: Roland James (Texas), Howard Daniels (Col.), Tony Tyson (Fla.), Craig James (Texas) and Ray Pemberton; godchild, Sherraine Venetis; special friends: Millie DeChabert, Andrea Stephenson, “Aunt” Leona Watson and Gladys Rohlsen; special families: the Smiths, Gordons and Messers of Newton, the Bradys, Benjamins, Bogans, Maccows, Ortizes, Simmondses, McIntoshes, Felixes and Lindseys of Mon-Bijou.

Winifred was a loving, kind and gentle soul who touched many people. She will be sorely missed.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 90A Upper Love. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
