Manor School will hold a Mega Market and Community Yard Sale Extravaganza from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. The public is invited to join the event as vendors and set up their own booths to sell their gently used merchandise or crafts or information tables about their organization. Manor is also accepting donations of yard sale items that they can sell. community members wanting to reserve a space for their own sale items or wanting to donate items can stop by the school Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or call Ms. Weathered at Manor School at 718-1448 or 340-514-1694 (cell), or Ms. Diaz at 201-8804. Spaces rent for $25 without a table and $35 with a table. Arrangements can be made for pick-up of large items being donated for the Manor booth on Thursday, March 2. Please call in advance, so a schedule can be made.
On the day of the yard sale, the public is invited to come shop, eat or have their cars washed. There will be a local Cruzan breakfast for purchase including salt fish, johnny cake, spinach and boiled eggs for $7 per plate and a lunch special with BBQ chicken or roast pork prepared by Chicken Shack and two sides for $8 and $10. One stop shopping will also include a car wash held at Princess Snackette next door. For the culturally-minded, there will be a pre-show of the upcoming Potentiality Exhibit with works by well-known artists. There will be a DJ spinning tunes as well.
All proceeds from the Extravaganza will go to Manor School’s scholarship fund. Donations of items can be dropped off at the school during school hours located at 4236 La Grande Princesse in Christiansted. Clean out the storage room and donate to a good cause or just come join this fun and worthwhile community event.
