The Amber Alert for 2-year-old Alayah Watley was called off Monday night, according to a news release from the V.I. Police Department.
A relative of the girl contacted police around 9 p.m. Monday and said she was in their possession. Officers interviewed the relative and returned the girl to her mother.
Police will consult with the Attorney General to determine whether to file charges in the case, according to the release.
