The International Optimist Regatta holds TOTE Maritime Clinic for three days (June 11-13) followed by a maritime team race on June 14 for sailors 8-15 years-old. The clinic splits the young sailors into 3 age groups and gives them instruction in sailing. Training times not given.

The Friends of the St. Croix National Parks have brought back the Thursday Lectures. Marcia Taylor of the University of the Virgin Islands will speak on “Climate Change Exit Impacts on the USVI Upcoming Marine Debris Projects/Plastics Ban.”

The International Optimist Regatta begins today and is set for three days, June 15-17. Racing is 4 hours daily.
