Committee on Culture, Historic Preservation and Aging Site visit

Agenda: The committee will receive an update on the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s state of operations, financial management, use of federal funds, billing, issuance of credits, power outages and capital projects.

The purpose of the meeting called by the V.I. Department of Agriculture is to inform farmers about new procedures at the abattoir, including compliance with USDA Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) standards, scheduling and operational procedures, humane animal transport, farmer’s form completion, payment for services and processed meat pickup procedures.
