The Virgin Islands Cycling Federation (VICF) will hold a Two-Person Time. It will be an 18-mile course. Starting at the line together, each pair of cyclists will be sent off at one-minute intervals. Time will be taken as the front wheel of the second cyclist crosses the finish line. In a two-person time trial, each rider takes turns pulling the pair at significantly higher power for a short period of time. The goal is to keep the team’s speed consistent, but higher than any individual rider could ride alone.
Race-day registration will open at 6 a.m. at Ha’ penny and close at 6:45 a.m. Helmets must be worn. Entry fee is $5 for VICF members, $10 for nonmembers.
