Unveiling of ‘I LOVE STX’ Sign

The St. Croix Classes of the 80s Inc. will hold an official unveiling of the “I LOVE STX” sign. It is a large-scale three-dimensional exhibit erected as a backdrop for visitors and locals, and it will aesthetically enhance the Frederiksted landscape.  The sign was constructed by Lennox Galloway Welding Service. The artist, Lucien Downes, provided the creative design, uniquely incorporating the official Virgin Islands madras pattern for the “heart” of the sign. Project sponsors and government officials will be in attendance.  The media, class members and community supporters are invited to witness the unveiling. A reception with refreshments and music will follow after the unveiling.
