Cycling Two-Person Time Trial

On Sunday, April 24, the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation will host a Two-Person Time Trial. Teams of two will be sent off at one-minute intervals to cover the 18-mile out-and-back course, which will turn around at the entrance pillars to Ha’ penny Beach. The finish time will be taken as the front wheel of the second cyclist of the team crosses the finish line. There will be four racing categories: Elite, Expert, Sport/Masters and Women.  A substantial prize will be awarded to the overall team to arrive to the top of Mount Fancy, which is about three miles from the start line. Onsite race-day registration will open at 6 a.m. and close at 6:45 a.m. No latecomers, please.
