SENATE PANEL TO PROBE WATER CONTAMINATION

To address concern about water contamination at Sibilly School, Sen. Adlah "Foncie" Donastorg has called a meeting of the Planning and Environmental Protection Committee for Thursday, Sept. 9. And to determine whether similar problems might exist elsewhere, he is asking that comprehensive water testing be done at all other schools.

Judge Almeric L. Christian, a giant in the judicial system of the Virgin Islands, died Wednesday morning in a Puerto Rico hospital. He was 79.
