Senators to Keynote at Small Business Week Closing Ceremonies

Senators Neville James and Tregenza Roach of the Virgin Islands will join Small Business Week Closing Ceremonies on St. Croix and St. Thomas as keynote speakers

Sen. Neville James and Sen. Tregenza A. Roach will deliver the keynote addresses on St. Croix and St. Thomas, respectively, during Small Business Week’s closing ceremonies. The ceremonies will be hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has called for the celebration of Small Business Week to acknowledge the enormous contributions small businesses make to the overall economy. During this week, the SBA and the SBDC honor the accomplishments of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, innovators and small business advocates, as well as lending institutions that promote SBA loan guaranty programs.

On Thursday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m., Sen. Neville James of the 32nd Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands will give the keynote speech at the Small Business Week Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the VI SBDC Conference Facility, Sion Farm Shopping Center, Suite 16,

Friday, May 19, at 9:30 a.m., Sen. Tregenza A. Roach of the 32nd Legislature will give the keynote speech at the Small Business Week Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the VI SBDC Conference Facility, 8000 Nisky Center, St. Thomas.
