Summer Food Service Training Sessions

The St. Thomas-St. John District of the Virgin Islands Department of Education is pleased to announce upcoming training sessions for Site Supervisors participating in the 2025 Summer Food Service Program, which will operate from June 9, through July 18.

Participation in one of the training sessions is mandatory for all individuals interested in operating a campsite and receiving meals for children enrolled in their summer camps. To ensure seamless program execution, camps are strongly encouraged to send more than one representative to the training sessions.

Training sessions will be held on the following dates at Victorโ€™s Hideout:

Friday, April 25, 2025


– Session I: 9:00 a.m. โ€“ 11:00 a.m.ย  and ย ย Session II: 1:00 p.m. โ€“ 3:00 p.m.

Tuesday, May 6, 2025

– Session I: 9:00 a.m. โ€“ 11:00 a.m.ย  and ย  Session II: 1:00 p.m. โ€“ 3:00 p.m.

Applications for site participation in the 2025 Summer Food Service Program are now available via the QR Code or at the School Food Authority Office, located at: #21 Subbase St. Thomas, Virgin Islands 00802.

Applicants must complete the application in full and submit the original signed document to the office. Photocopies or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, May 5, 2025.
