Repairs to Ethel Mclntosh Memorial Drive Roadway Start in March

The Department of Public Works informs the community of a new project on Ethel Mclntosh Memorial Drive – also known as Mahogany Road.

DPW Contractor-Marco St. Croix Inc.-was given notice to proceed on Jan. 27. The pre-construction meeting was held on Monday, Feb. 4, and roadwork is expected to begin in March 2025. The scope of work for this project includes pavement rehabilitation for the entire segment of Ethel Mclntosh Memorial Drive, drainage improvements, retaining wall repairs, guardrail, signage, and striping.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow detours while work is in progress. This project is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2026.
