After further investigating the cause of death and ensuring notification of next of kin, the V.I. Department of Health confirmed the territory’s 26th death related to COVID-19 on Thursday. The deceased is a 55-year-old female on St. Croix.
Health continues to work to slow the spread of COVID-19 and asks the public to continue to follow these precautionary measures: stay at home, practice social distancing, wear a mask when in the company of others outside of your household, clean frequently used areas thoroughly and wash your hands often with soap and warm water.
