Joseph Stanley Adonis Brown Sr., also known as "Joey B,” of Smithfield, Frederiksted, died on Oct. 25. He was 68 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Mildred Brown and George Audain; son, Jermaine A. Brown; and sister, Rhonda B. A. Daniel.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret Wilson Brown; sons: Timothy Brown Sr., Craig K.A. Brown, Joseph S. A. Brown Jr., Reigard U. Brown, Troy M. Richards Sr. and Michael A. Richards Sr.; daughter, Dionne R. Donadelle; and grandchildren: Timarie Brown, Tiana Brown, Zyanne Brown, Timothy Brown, Jr., Tiffany S. Turner, Janiyah I.A. Brown, Danica B. Brown, Jelissa T. Brown, Jomesha M. Brown, Joseph S. A. Brown III., Jaquana A. Brown, Ariana D. Brown, Janya C. Brown, Mekhi T. A. Brown, Christopher L. D. Harley, Y’Maniah S. Richards, Zthoerie J. Richards, Troy M. Richards Jr., Jyn’Daya A. Richards and Michael A. Richards Jr.
He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Tiimaya Nisbett, Tamiah Nisbett, Timia Nisbett and Khemani Hoheb; sisters: Annette Brown, Jacqueline Brown Francis, Paulette Philips, Cyntella Audain, Shelia Audain and Kim Watts; brothers: Cephus (Bertel) Audain (St. Kitts), Lindsay Audain (Virgin Gorda), and Desmond Audain (St. Kitts); special nieces: Charisa Audain (St. Kitts) and Sian Audain; and special nephew, Louis Williams (St. Kitts).
Other survivors include daughters-in-law: Sebrena Brown, Renata Brown, Melissa E. Brown and Antwanna S. Brown; sisters-in-law: Karen W. Quinn, Hulda W. McIntosh and Loretta W. Lynch; friends: Henry Thomas, Maurice Williams, James Parris, Amos Peters Sr., Norris Griffin, Keith Roland, David Allen, Calypsonian (St. Croix and St. Thomas) and many, many more friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Friedensberg Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
