Celebrate the next National Day of Service with the Environmental Association St. Thomas-St. John (EAST) and the V.I. Conservation Society (VICS) at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Magens Bay.
Trucks and volunteers are needed to help transport bagged, empty aluminum cans to a recycling center in the Sub Base area. The proceeds from these cans goes towards a recycling fund to help provide free bins to any interested group or organization that would like do the same for another group in an effort for community-wide recycling.
