St. Croix Superintendent of Schools Gary Molloy informs parents and guardians of Alfredo Andrews Elementary School students that parking at the school is being restricted due to a physical improvement and flood mitigation project in progress.
Because of ongoing construction, parents will not be allowed to enter the premises to drop off and pick up children. The main gate is closed until further notice. The gate at the northwestern end (Woodson Junior High Road) of the school will remain opened. Students should be dropped off and be picked up near that gate.
The superintendent regrets the inconvenience of the temporary parking restriction, but said it is part of the measures taken to ensure the safety of all while the longstanding adverse conditions in the parking lot are being corrected.
