Richards Jr. H.S. Organizes Senatorial Election Forum

In an effort to enlighten the student body on the election process and the working of government, the Social Studies Department at Arthur A. Richards Junior High School will hold a senatorial election forum at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, in the school auditorium.
“This program will afford our students a role in the political process that is now taking place in our community as it relates to the upcoming election,” said Principal Kurt Vialet.
All St. Croix senatorial candidates for the 30th Legislature of the Virgin Islands have been formally invited to participate in the forum. Students will seize this opportunity to question the candidates on matters relative to their formal education and other pressing societal issues.
