Oliver E. Chinnery Dies

Oliver E. Chinnery died on April 10.
He is survived by his wife, Ione Chinnery; daughters: Shirley Chinnery-Recard and Sylvie Chinnery-Smith; sons: Dorsey Chinnery, Oliver Chinnery Jr., David Chinnery, Dean Chinnery and Dariel Chinnery; sisters: Asta Elsa Newton and Irene Bovine; brothers: George Chinnery and Pedro Chinnery; daughter-in-law, Patricia Chinnery; sister-in-law, Rita Thompson; brothers-in-law: Clarence Hedrington, Leslie Hedrington and Herbert Hedrington Jr.; grandchildren: Nicole Recard, Atosheka Chinnery, Renueka Chinnery, Dorsey Chinnery Jr., Amin Smith,
Mansa Smith, Shamour Jones, Shenell Evans, Keenan Donegan, Michael George and Rupert Venzen; great-grandchildren: Alexis Smith, Aden Smith, Amin Smith Jr., Myles Smith, Mycah Smith, Nayan Bayonas Chinnery, Yeilen Bayonas Chinnery, Cameron Ellerby, Caden Ellerby and Sanija Evans; special friends: Arlington Pierre, Tois Jean Paul; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4, at Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
