St. Thomas detectives arrested 21-year-old Oriel Destin Thursday on first-degree robbery charges in connection with an incident in the Paul M. Pearson Gardens Housing Community on Oct. 8.
The victim told police that he was taking groceries to his apartment when he was approached by an armed person, who was later identified as Destin. The victim said he was robbed of his gold chain, gold bracelet, gold ring and wallet.
