Victor Ebbesen Sr. regrettably announces the passing of Thelma Leona Oliver Ebbesen, his wife of 61 years. Thelma died in her home on Monday, Sept. 19.
She survives through and will be remembered by her children and their families: the Harleys of St. John, the Johnsons of Pittsburgh, and the Ebbesens of Baltimore; her sister, Elsa O’Bryan; her brother-in-law, Jean Ebbesen; sisters-in-law, Leona Bryant, Angel Wheatley and Grace Haagenson; and George and Enid Ebbesen of St Croix. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents: Edgar and Anne Oliver; and her brother and sisters: Lincoln Oliver, Clarissa Wiggins, Octavia Ross, Agatha Ragster and Doris Oliver.
The O’Bryan, Ebbesen, Bryant, Wheatley, Haagenson, Oliver, Wiggins, Ross, and Ragster families will forever preserve Thelma’s memory. A celebration of life will be held at Davis Funeral Home’s Chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
