Tamirah Akeda Bruno of Mutual Homes died on Friday, July 8. She was 16 years old.
She is survived by her mother: Tricia Dena; father, Bevin Bruno; grandparents: Lucia Codrington, Edward Dena, Geraldine Loblack and Matthew Bruno; sisters: Tameka Bruno, T’Shania Bruno, Ashley Bruno and Dajah Bruno; niece, M’yesha M. Brooks; aunts: Sheila Codrington, Cynthia Codrington, Kathleen O’Garro, Evangeline Bruno and Angella Serrant; uncles: Whenrick Codrington, Phillip Bruno, Franklyn Bruno, Grandell Bruno and Francis Bruno; special friends: Anthony, Tanya, Saieda, Akeem, LaTroy, Johnny, Azaria, Stephanie Nelson, Sonia, LeShakeya, Percy J. Hollins Jr., Jason and Felicita.
She is also survived by cousins and other relatives: Shenelle and Jeneisha Hamid, Michael, Ethan and Noah O’Garro, Candace Robinson, Angelin and Brent Benjamin, Meniah Codrington, Vanessa Lewis and family, B.J. Joseph and family, Barry Joseph and family, the Joseph family, Jhane and Shane Rose, and Felix Timothy and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 25, at the Altona Baptist Church, Estate St. John. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
