Woman Attacks Children with Pepper Spray

Lorna Williams, 45, was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault after she allegedly pepper-sprayed a 17-year-old female minor and her two younger siblings in the eyes.

Williams, 45, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the police report, the minor told police Williams approached her while she was walking in the area with her siblings. Williams and the minor began to argue and Williams reacted by spraying the victim in her eyes. The other children were also affected by the spray.

The minor told police she had an altercation with Williams the previous day.


The minor was transported to the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center for treatment and released.

Bail for Williams was set at $50,000 and she was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
