For the discharge of a secondary treated, sanitary wastewater effluent. The maximum wastewater treatment facility (WWTP) flows are limited as follows in million gallons per day (mgd) from the ANGUILLA wastewater treatment facility into Krause Lagoon on St. Croix. This facility also has settlement requirements under the St. Croix Sea Accord.
The permit number is VI0020036.
A copy of the draft permits, fact sheets and applications may be viewed at the office of the Division of Environmental Protection (DEP), and additional information can be obtained by calling Mr. David A. Simon, Environmental Engineer III, TPDES Permit Administrator at 774-3320 extension 5148. The applicant will be subject to certain effluent limitations and other conditions necessary to comply with a TPDES permit, authorizes under The Clean Water Act.
All written documents submitted during the comment period will be retained by the Permit Administrator and considered in the formulation of this final determination with respect to these applications. During the comment period, any interested person may request that the Commissioner of DPNR hold a public hearing pursuant to Title 12, Chapter 7, Section 195 of the Virgin Islands Code.
DPNR/DEP intends to issue final permits for these facilities and interested persons may submit written comments and concerns to the Commissioner and Permit Administrator at the same address below, but no later than sixty (60) days from the first of two consecutive publications of this public notice:
