May 30, 2009 – David E. Georges died on May 16 in Orlando, Florida. He was 84 years old.
He is survived by his sister, Gladys Rogers; many nieces and nephews that include Edith Rhymer, Melvin Hodge and Drena Donovan; stepchildren: Delores Williams and Henry Daniel; close friend and cousin, Bernice Heyliger; sister-in-law, Morell Georges; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Sunday, May 31, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held from 8:30-10 a.m., on Monday, June 1, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at Christ Church Methodist, Market Square. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
