Virgin Islands Fashion Week along with Tutu Park Mall present a model search competition and fashion extravaganza called "Face of SHABEAU Model Search '08." Out of competitors from all over the territory, one male and one female will be selected to represent the V.I. at the regional competition that will be held on Barbados later this year. There they will compete against representatives from over 13 other Caribbean countries for the title of Male and Female Face of SHABEAU.
The event is free to the public and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Tutu Park Mall. The models will be judged by some of top V.I. industry professionals. There will be a fashion show featuring the latest collections from various stores at the mall.
The official after party will be held at the Reggae Lounge. Tickets are $10, available from Feb. 1, at the Tutu Park Mall, the Reggae Lounge, He Say She Say Boutique, the Rack and VI Bridal and Tuxedos.
