June 30, 2008 – Hilda Espinosa Mercado, also known as "Hilita," of Estate Glynn died on June 24. She was 78 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Consuelo and Marta; sons: Saturnino Jr., Manuel, Jaime, Eusebio and Jose; grandchildren: Saturnino III, Makisha-Maria, Marco, Ahmad, Kahlil, Malik, Maya-Angelou, Sharon, Sylvin, Shermira, Shakima, Jaime Jr., Shandra, Elisa-Beth, Eusebio-Jonez, Maritsa, Cedrick and Maribel; and 26 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Cruz and Julio Espinosa; sister, Lucia Colon; daughters-in-law: Linneth and Delmas; son-in-law, Frederick Belton; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., on Tuesday, July 8, at Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mon Bijou. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., at the church. Internment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
