May 30, 2007 – A Blue Moon will rise over St. Croix this Thursday evening, May 31, and the St. George Village Botanical Garden will open its gates for another of its celebrated Gardens By Moonlight tours.
Horticultural Director David Hamada will lead the nocturnal exploration of the grounds, and Rick Starr will provide stargazing tips and a celestial education for guests. Peter des Jardins and Johnny Reef will provide a background of live blues music with wine, cheese and hors d'oeuvres as refreshments. The tour runs from 7-9 p.m. and guests are advised to wear sensible shoes and bring a flashlight.
Admission is $20 for members of the St. George Village Botanical Garden and $35 for non-members. For reservations or membership information, contact 692-2874.
