July 12, 2006 – Elvin Leory Cranston Jr., also known as "Little Man" and "Little Yard," died on June 28, at Roy L. Schneider Hospital. He was five months and five days old.
He is survived by his mother, Cora M. Thomas Cranston; father, Elvin Leory Cranston Sr. ("Yardy"); grandmother, Doris Lindquist; grandfathers: Albert Callwood and Ellis Cranston; and great-grandmother, Leah Thomas. Other survivors include sisters: Tameka Donovan and Teniquia Shardy A. Blake; aunts: Cheryl Moore, Alecia Callwood, Cheryl Cranston and Ideta Cranston; and uncles: Alston, Alfred, Albert and Alford Callwood.
There will be a viewing from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., on Friday, July 14, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 9:30 a.m., at St. Andrew's Episcopal. Interment will be at Western Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
